Currently a 5.4k Surv hunter, but willing to go MM for this guild.

I chose to be Survival because most hunters are MM, knowing that surv hunters can contribute as much/ or more dps than a MM hunter, but with many different raid buffs.

Titan Bar, DBM, Grid, X-perl, recount, DoTimer

The guild i am currently in is the only guild i've been in, reason for leaving is that it doesn't have much raid potential and i believe dissonance can offer many successes in raids.

- Previous PvE-Raid experience (Both Pre-BC and Post-BC before 3.0 nerfs) - of that content, what did you progress through and what did you simply farm?
Started wow when WOTLK came out.

- We raid 3 days a week, Tues, Weds & THurs from 7-9:30pm PST.. what kind of attendance can we expect from you?
7-9:30 Can be assured 100%
But i heard now raid times are 7-11, if that is the case i can attend 98% Simply because I might need some extra studying to do for my exams.

- Do you have headphones and a mic, and are you capable of speaking in vent when needed?
Yes, i have a mic/headset/vent

- Any obligations now or in the future that will prevent you from raiding certain nights?
Family or Girlfriend, but it would be unusually since raid days are on tues/wed/thurs

- Are you willing to respec as needed for progression?
At anytime, willing to respec / regem.

- Are you willing to change your professions to min/max for raids?
Yes, but i think my prof's are good.

Close to 24/7?

I can tell you guys are a very close and out-going guild, I want to be part of the experience of raiding with a hard-core guild.

I have ran with this guy a couple of times. Did not see him die to stupid shit. he did point out all the stupid shit people were doing. Seems like his raiding mentality is like minded with the guilds.

We did run in a couple of fail groups but his dps was pretty solid on each boss encounter.

He has the desire, the time matches, and willing to learn, or change his toon to fit the raid. I think this guys should be offered a trial run with the guild.

I would like to see how well he can preform in a raid that is not so much fail.

Just a list of the things I have noticed so far:

- Your armory currently has you in PvP gear.

- The majority of your gear is unenchanted (or improperly enchanted).

- You don't have the required Ebon Blade rep to use the necessary PvE helm enchant.

- You are mostly using blue gems (and a green in your helm). Again this is your PvP gear (I assume) so it is possible you are using epics in your PvE gear.

- You are not using any minor glyphs in your survival spec and only two in your marks spec. A minor detail overall but one I find worth noting.

- Your Blacksmithing is only at 94 skill, and therefore grants you zero bonuses.

- I'm fairly sure you've made some rather poor choices with your spec. I'd go into detail but I'd rather let someone else with more knowledge on hunters elaborate.

- According to your application (began WoW in WotLK) and your achievements, you have incredibly minimal raiding experience.

You have completed:

-2 bosses in Naxx 10 (I assume for the weekly)
-1 Flame Leviathan kill in Uld 10
-1 complete run through 10 ToC
-2 complete runs through 25 ToGC
-1 kill of each of the first 4 bosses of Icecrown 10.

I would assume most are from pugs. The only possibly relevant kills are the Icecrown ones, and they are not in any way difficult. This is certainly below what we would expect from an applicant.

This can be forgiven as evidenced by the sense of humour some of my fellow guild mates have.

I'm not sure if you're trying to be funny here or if you do not have a complete grasp of the English language.

Either way, unless you have a decent explanation for the majority of these points I wouldn't get your hopes up too high for being accepted.

I'll be honest, I stopped looking when I saw an AP gem.

I guess I could take some pokes at this too:

You opted out of 1 point in aimed shot for imp arcane shot. As survival, you never arcane shot because explosive shot shares a CD and is always superior to use. You may as well have gotten aimed shot because not only is a mortal wound effect useful, multi-shot does not get the damage benefit from sniper training.

You gave up 3% damage for hawk eye, granting you 6 more yards of range you probably wouldn't need.

You also gave up another 3% damage from not getting Noxious Stings. "... and increases all damage done by you on targets afflicted by your serpent sting by 3%"
